Tranquility, hospitality, breathtaking views along with frangrant gardens, forests and wildlife are just a part of the magic of Tortosieshell Farm. Enjoy RAC **** comfort in the bush in a choice of unique accommodation for groups of adults and families. Cooked breakfasts and delicious evening meals our speciality. Leashed dogs by arrangement. Bring your own horses for no extra charge.

When Sean & Sheila fell in love with Tortoiseshell Farm 30 years ago, it was an unfenced, unserviced 100 acre bush block in the "never never". Without power they hand built an amazing stone and timber homestead, fences, yards, roads, dams and eventually horse arenas, stables, cottages and acres of gardens. Today it sits on the edge of Bridgetown (the town is coming to it!) and offers a range of unique accommodation, both luxure self-contained and in-house bed & breakfast. And magically it still retains its privacy and isolation. It still feels like the "never never", a world of its own cocooned as it is by its own bush and conservation forest and enjoying unspoilt breathtaking panoramic views.

Tortoiseshell Farm is a registered Land for Wildlife property and cares each year for orphaned wildlife.

Location
8 Polina Road, Bridgetown WA 6255 , Australia

Kids, horses, dogs and kangaroos feature in family photos, and these sentiments extend to guests who are invited to bring their dogs and horses on holiday. Large groups of adult riders and others can be accommodated and horses either yarded, stabled or paddocked. Full size dressage arena and kilometres of riding trails available.

Hospitality and cooking are a Tortoiseshell passion expressed in hearty country breakfasts, evening meals and special dinner occasions. The gardens continue to mature and evolve and their Spring display is truly amazing.

A fondness for nature and agricultural history is expressed in unusual use of often quirky recycled materials (such as tractor flattened 44 gallon drums as wall linings in "The Packing Shed").

Tortoiseshell Farm is a sancturary for people as well as wildlife, be you a couple, a family, friends, conference, wedding or group re-union. Sean & Sheila would love to welcome you to their special piece of paradise.
